Our Fees

For employers

We prefer to work on a fixed fee or on a retainer basis, which enables you to budget without the worry of the clock ticking every time you pick up the phone.

For a fixed monthly, quarterly or annual fee, our retainer package can include:

  • Unlimited Employment Tribunal representation.
  • Unlimited access to advice on general or specific employment law or HR issues.  This could include, for example, reviewing or drafting letters, advising on particular disciplinary or grievance proceedings and reviewing or drafting policies and procedures.
  • Unlimited access to our employment law helpline, which provides telephone and e-mail support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Training, breakfast briefings and a quarterly newsletter on employment law updates.

No hidden costs.  Unlike most firms of solicitors, we will not charge you for travelling time,or for photocopying.  The only additional costs will be barrister’s fees and miscellaneous expenses, such as the cost of obtaining medical records or an experts report as is sometimes necessary in discrimination cases.  We will always seek your approval before incurring any additional costs.

As with all things, our retainer package can be tailored to your specific requirements and budget, which we would be delighted to discuss further with you.

Although we may prefer to work on a fixed fee or retainer basis, we aim to deliver a service that offers best possible value and flexibility and would like to discuss any alternative charging structure with you.  Whatever your preference, we will always discuss your requirements and the charges for our services with you at the outset, so that either our fees will be fixed or we can provide you with a clear estimate of cost.
